Well I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a very happy new year!!! Christmas for us was crazy as usual. On Christmas eve we go over to Ryan's mom and Chris' house then it's up at the crack of dawn Christmas morning and off to Ryan's dad's house, then last but not least to my mom's. I think it is safe to say that this will most likley be the last year of that. We are all so exhaused by the end of the festivities that we need a vacation just to regroup. After Christmas ended it was time for New Years. Needless to say our new year didn't start off to such a great start. Both my boys were sick with the flu. I don't think I have ever seen Ryan so sick and poor Collin was the sickest he has ever been. I felt so bad!! Knock on wood, but so far I have managed to avoid it. Well on a happier note we are all doing fine other than that and now are just patiently awaiting the arrival of our little girl who will be making her apperience somtime in April. We are all so excited to meet her. This pregnancy has gone by so fast, too fast at times. I am really trying to enjoy every minute of this since we know Callie will be the completion to our family. Collin is so excited to be a big brother and I know he is going to be great with her. He likes to show me how he will hold her by rocking his arms back and fourth. I dream about the moment the two of them meet for the first time and I can already feel the tears start to well up in my eyes. That will be a moment in my life I know I will cherish forever. Life goes by so fast. I constently find myself asking where the time has gone. My babies will only be little for so long, so I guess I would have to say that one of my new years resolutions would be to slow down and take in every skinned up knee, every smile, every tear, every I love you and all the wonderful things in between. I am truly blessed with an amazing family and I thank god for every one of them, they are all a gift. I wish everyone a very happy 2008.

"Look mom Rudolph"
Collin is really into the lights this year and every time he see's Rudolph he breaks out into song. I finally got out the video camera so that I could record it. I think it is the cutiest thing I have ever seen. His Mimi bought him Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer dvd and I think he has the thing memorized. I am trying to hold onto these days because I know that soon he will be all grown up and won't be my little boy anymore.

Santa's Coming to Town
My little guy, I couldn't believe that he actually sat on Santa's lap this year. Last year he wouldn't go near the guy. I was so excited and felt kinda bad cause I was going to take him to see Santa at the mall this year but thought that he would have a fit if I tried to have him sit on his lap. I guess I was wrong. Collin can't wait this year for Santa to come. Every year at Mimi's house Santa comes through the neighborhood in Murrieta singing x-mas carols and is joined by Mrs. Clause, Rudolph (who Collin is obsessed with), and Frosty the Snowman. It is really a fun thing for all the kids. They all get to line up and sit on Santa's lap. Collin kept telling Santa that he is being a "good boy" I couldn't stop laughing. It is so much fun this year since Collin really understands the whole Santa thing. We have even used it to our advantage a couple of times. Ryan even went as far as to call Collin in the phone to tell him to pick up his room or else he wouldn't be bringing any toys for him this year. Ryan, of course was trying not to laugh the entire time. Well the countdown is on every day we count how many days left until Santa comes to our house.
