Seriously.........

I know that I have said it before but I will say it again. I serously have the cutiest kids in the world. I know every mom says that, but it's true. If you are a mom then you know exactly what I am talking about. I keep trying tp take in every second that I am with my kids. As we all know way too well time goes by so fast. Collin will already be 4 this coming January and I feel like it was yesterday when he was born. Callie already has two bottom teeth and is just about crawling. Time to get the house baby proofed again. These kids are such a blessing to us. I used to find myself eager for Collin's "first's" and now I am wondering how much longer it will be until he doesn't run up to me for no reason and give me a giant hug and kiss just because or tell me that I'm the best mommy. I look at Collin and hope that I will always be able to rember the high piched tone he gets in his voice when he is excited or the way he walkes down the hall after his nap with a pillow covering his face thinking that he is going to scare me. With Callie I don't find myself eager for her first step or first word. She is our last child so I know it will be the last time I get to have all the baby first's. Sometimes I wish the kids could stay little forever but then I think of all the fun new adventures that lay ahead for our family.

Happy Halloween

Don't worry that is a wig on Ryan. So Collin was obviously Spiderman and my Callie girl was a kitty cat. I decided to make her some ears since I wasn't too excited about paying $30 for a costume that would never be worn again. My mom loaned me her sewing machine and I had been using it to make headbands for Callie. So since I was kinda getting the hang of the machine I thought how hard would it be to make the ears myself. Yeah who am I kidding it took me about 3 hours to make them!!!!!! Oh well at least it didn't cost anything. Mission accomplished.

The Village People are on the Loose..........

OMG!!!! I'm sure Chris will hate me for putting this up. We were all laughing so hard at theese two. Can we fix it....................Yes we can!

Lobsters

So my mom decided for the birthdays and our anniversary this year she was going to have love lobsters flown in from Maine. To say that they were delicious would be an understatemen. We had been telling Collin about them and we were all anxious to see what his reaction would be to them. When we got to moms we took them out of the box and let them crawl around on the kitchen floor. He was a little scared of them but it didn't take him too long before he was man handling them. They were probably looking forward to getting cooked so that this kid would leave them alone. Collin was so cute he asked me if after dinner if he could play with the lobsters again and I had to break the news that they were dinner. I wasn't how he was going to feel about one being on his plate. Into the pot they went and he even watched. When it was time to eat we all put our bibs on and got to cracking. Collin seemed to like them ok not overly thrilled so of course we had to help finish his. No complaining here. Thanks again mom!!!!

BMX

This picture was taken about a month ago when we took Collin out to the bmx track in Perris. I can not believe how good Collin is a pretty much all things sports. I know I probably sound like another bragging mom but I swear this kid is so cordinated. He was just about the littlest guy out there. We were standing right by the start gate and as soon as he would zoom by I would start to yell and cheer him on. The cutiest thing though was when he'd go by he would be looking straight ahead and have this focused look in his face trying not to smile. I never though I would be one of those moms that was crazy about being real loud at the kids games but watch out I think that a switch got flipped on at the track. Poor Collin, I am sure he is in for years of embarassment!!!!!!

Torture.........

I am not sure who this haircut thing is worse on me or Collin. I guess it depends on who you ask first. I don't know why this is such a big deal to him but I dread getting him haircuts. Usually either I give him one or we take him to Auntie Heathers for the torture. Either way it never goes well no matter what we brib him with. So here I was thinking that I was brilliant for taking him to a place that does just kids haircuts and they can sit in jet, hummer, barbie jeep, you name it. Needless to say $18 dollars later and me needing a ear transplant, it did not go well!!!! The nice lady reassured me that it is really common for boys to act like this. Whatever, you coulnd't pay me enough to have her job.

Just Us!!!

Here's a rare moment in our lives. Just the two of us........... Collin was too busy running around with his cousins to notice that a picture is being taken with out him in it and Callie I'm sure was being the center of attention. This was the morning after Heather's wedding. We all went to Teresa's house for brunch and present opening. It was so great to see all of our family that lives so far away. I wish that they lived closer because when we are all in a room it's a non stop laughing fest. To say that Ryan's family is great would be the understatement of a lifetime. They have welcomed me into their lives with open arms and made me feel as if I had know them my entire life! I think it is so rare to come across people as genuine as they ALL are. I hope that they know how much I love them and love having them be a big part of my life and my children's lives. How lucky we are!!!!!
